If the lemmy web ui was as good as mastodons, I wouldn’t need a third party app

Ok, I’ve been anxiously waiting for an easy way to incorporate PeerTube into my Apple centric entertainment stack. Unfortunately, this app doesn’t do it for me — the design is confusing and not prioritizing the ability to login (easy access to synced subscriptions) is wild to me. Also not sure why there isn’t an Apple TV app yet. Beyond that, the frequent use of AI generated marketing photos for PeerTube is creating another bad taste in my mouth. In summary, I’m more pessimistic about this project than I was a couple months ago.

Great to hear that Apple recognizes the demand here. Controller support does mean more games…

Make fun of Apex all you want, it was the best performing game of its kind on the Deck and kept me from selling my Deck sooner. Now, I’m even a Linux convert because of how well games like Apex worked away from their Windows origins. Seeing a large game like this be killed off on Linux is awful. I’m not sure where the blame lies (with EA, right?) but it needs to be fixed.
