iirc it was a bit of a controversy when Epic was newer that they would- without asking- just grab a bunch of information from a Steam install on the same PC. Stuff like your friends list and your play history. They did it by directly looking at local files, too, so it wasn’t even through Steam’s API.

Lot of great suggestions here- I grabbed MCC myself. Was kinda stunned that it’s… I think five games ranging from absolutely era defining (at least for me) to solid games. For $10 I’m not sure that can be beat.

It’s not very patient gamer of me, but if you want specifically 3-player games Space Marine 2 comes to mind immediately. Kinda pricey, though.

She looks kinda weird, but manages to make it more ‘exotic’ and less ‘unattractive.’ It comes off as unique.
To be clear, I’m not in her “order of horny men”. I’ve seen her in like one or two movies, and that’s about it.
Either way, I think you might care way too much about this. I remember a few people that everyone lost their minds over that I thought were actually full blown repulsive. I ain’t making posts about them, though.
I’ve been playing this for a couple days now, I’m absolutely loving it.
Right when I think the game is done it’s hit me with six more features and a bunch more stuff I can unlock. Plus I’m a LotR nerd so the plot is interesting.
Also, the mining songs are amazing and I love that.
I didn’t see much of it except for one burst where Hexbear was getting rowdy with my instance- that was… annoying.
There was some drama I don’t recall the specifics of but it apparently angered Hexbear enough that I started seeing a lot of them in basically every comment section.
I’ve sort of generally moved over to coop games in general nowadays.
Or even if I’m playing something that’s a versus sort of multiplayer- like Civ- I just try not to focus too much on winning. I’m there for the journey, not the destination. If I end up winning, cool. If I don’t, that’s also cool as long as I had fun along the way.
Yeah, I don’t like Linus all that much but I do enjoy LTT’s content overall. He tends to drastically and publicly overreact to literally any criticism, and then the rest of the team gets involved and he walks it back. Whether they legitimately change his mind or just convince him he’s gotta look like he’s changed his mind I have no clue.
My favorite instances of Linus are when he’s an absolute idiot on the WAN show and we just get to see Luke’s reaction live. The hard-r thing was absolutely hilarious.

I’m really enjoying it quite a lot- I first played around a20, and then I picked it up again recently.
It isn’t a perfect game, but it’s a pretty decent experience that’s very unique.
I don’t think it’s worth $45. That seems a bit excessive. $20 or maybe even $30? Sure.
With that said, I haven’t followed the game’s development at all really. I could see a bunch of broken promises causing some completely understandable frustration with the devs.

As for SDV- I’d like to add that I very specifically do not like multiplayer. A large part of the fun of it, to me, is being able to play at my own pace. Having to set that pace with someone else isn’t enjoyable to me. Not that there’s anything wrong with enjoying multiplayer, I just don’t want anyone to think that there’s a ‘proper’ way to play the game. There’s not- you do you. The only exception is choosing jojamart. That is objectively wrong.
I grabbed Graveyard Keeper and I’m enjoying the hell out of it ~15hrs later. It’s kind of like if Stardew Valley dropped the focus on farming and the characters and instead added a tech tree and a very satirical dark-vibe.
A lot of games try to open with a character death and fail because they don’t really give you a reason to care about the character. The perspective swap in The Last Of Us’s intro is absolutely amazing for that exact reason- it’s hard not to empathize with someone when you’ve literally been in their shoes for a bit.
Absolutely not- you can just play TW2 which is significantly less dated than TW1, or just skip directly to TW3. Maybe watch a recap of the first two games if you do that, though.
