I use a one time pad with all of my contacts. I ask them to eat or burn each page when they are used up.

People will help those they know personally (e.g. family units) and even then only to a point. Harboring resources for yourself is innate. Most organisms exhibit a form of territoriality to protect their resources. Communism breeds apathy, a struggle for resources and hopelessness, just ask anyone who has actually lived through a communist government.
Because it is not human nature and has to be forced on people. Eventually even those who are in charge of it fall into the normal human nature of social structures and such.
A society that wants to be a war zone
“toss me into a torture facility”
What? Step away from the internet for a while.
I look forward to seeing Jean Teasdale as the editor and Jim Anchower cruising again.
How could you tell the difference?
Just make sure you are under 100 lbs and have no baggage.
I was watching one air accident documentary where the plane dropped so hard that people who were unbuckled were launched into the ceiling and people found their phones and laptops in the back of the plane.
So basically it is more what twitter was really worth anyway

Streaming in general is approaching the old cable prices. Once you’ve subscribed to the fractured marketplace to find the shows you want you are spending far more than you expected.
I’m no fan of Hezbollah but how is this different than spreading land mines? Even if you kill civilians in an air strike at least you can claim there were enemy combatants there. Here it is just “Eh, we’ll just kill people at random and see what happens.”
I tell people to keep an eye on their diet. Once you hit your early 20s that whole teen “I can eat a whole pizza and be fine” is gone. It is incredibly easy to go over your calorie needs in a week and after a year you’ve gained 2-3 lbs or more. Before you know it by 30 or 40 you are 50+ lbs over and obese and now you are struggling to lose it. It creeps up on you.
Forgive yourself and others but learn from those experiences. As a saying goes "Resentment is like taking poison and waiting for the other person to die.”
Grow some herbs and such. It is fun going through a recipe and thinking “Oh, I can run outside for this ingredient.” I like to tell my wife “In a way we are eating our lawn.” lol
Get away from tech on a regular basis. Allow yourself to be in your own thoughts occasionally. I think constantly being tied to phones and the internet is killing creativity because we never have those day dreaming moments that lead to inspiration.
Don’t spend huge chunks of your life on video games. They are a fun distraction but at the end of the day is it just bits on some server that could be shut down at any moment. Get off of the dopamine treadmill.
If you need to learn one rule it is “Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you”
Do what the Germans did in ww1 when they knew their diplomatic code was broken but couldn’t change it. They put the important stuff in plain sight and treated it like junk mail and encoded the boring stuff.
