I mean, sure, but that’s really easier said than done. Good luck getting good mental healthcare for cheap in the vast majority of places

Why does legality matter? Laws are set by the government, why do you expect a fascist one to be beholden to them?
The interesting thing though, is that technological life continuing leads to more entropy faster, not slower.
Is your argument that we should use generative AI to mislead people? To make fake videos and images and such to use as “proof”?
This is just that zizek quote
And you need to keep in mind that targeted harassment campaigns are perfectly content twisting and manipulating the truth. I have plenty of experience with shit like that from my personal life. So I do not put a lot of stock in info sourced from places like those
In addition, I highly doubt the founder would have been this deeply affected by the harassment if she actually was a person that didn’t care much for the animals or others and their opinions
Yeah sorry if I don’t believe this when the source is fucking kiwifarms
I love heat pumps I love heat pumps I love heat pumps
(I agree! I do love tech connections. Although I’d argue that knowing how heat pumps work can be quite beneficial ^^ at least in my case)
Why would anyone want to watch AI generated content? What’s the point? I get using AI generation as a tool but if there’s no human intention behind it, just a pure algorithm, why even bother?
Maybe it makes achieving personal things in a dark society harder, but it strongly helps to improve society itself. And it’s much more pleasant to live in the opposite of a dark society. A better society is not a zero sum game
Healing is hard and uncomfortable in the short to medium term, but in the long term it’s always preferred
I know you wrote H and O, and not H2 and O2, but I’m going to assume the gas forms because those two substances pretty much cannot exist in their pure forms
And for those, O2 is necessary for our life, and H2 is non-toxic, it’s just very flammable. So I don’t know if the comparison fully works
Of course, you’re right if you mean pure H and pure O, but, again, they will immediately combine to form a new substance
“everyone’s punching up” ignores the influence of personality and compatibility though
To me appearance isn’t that important (as long as it’s feminine), what is though, us how much I like their personality, and that’s not only subjective, but also something that can be worked on. Moreover, if you like someone’s personality, chances are they like yours too, because at that point a lot of it is about compatibility as well (if I like someone who likes DnD, chances are they do the same, right?)
Humans are too much of social creatures for it to be a simple measure of “who’s hotter” evolutionary speaking
Well, that doesn’t matter for blåhaj, which disables downvotes, at least
I just want to point out that Greta Thunberg is 22 years old. She’s been an adult for 4 years now
Except it would still have severe consequences if it’s intelligence. Especially if it may label the person as a traitor
To me minimalism is about consciously thinking about what items I keep in my environment. Mostly this means I don’t buy random stuff unless I’m certain I’m going to use it, so I wouldn’t even have a canoe in the first place
I do not like when there’s a lot of stuff, it stresses me out and overwhelms me, and generally, in my experience, just causes more issues than it solves in the long run. That doesn’t mean you should throw away stuff you might need, but more that you actively think about the things you have, instead of mindlessly gathering more
So, what if I were to, say, inherit a canoe and had the space to store it? Would I throw it away? No, but I would donate it to a school yard sale
Well like, you could have a hammer without the canoe, you know
Minimalism isn’t about “as little as possible”. It’s about only having what you need. Basic tools are part of the “only what you need”, unless you got readily access to a shared supply of tools
Where? In my country there isn’t less variety, no
As a rule of thumb, there typically are very few people clamoring for volunteer leader positions. It’s a constant problem you see even in irl non-profit organizations, unless they’re fairly big/famous
It just turns out that, it’s actually just a lot of responsibility and work. Most people realize this, and don’t have the capacity to do the work, so often there even are no candidates for the leader positions… until someone reluctantly steps up because otherwise the organization would die
At least, that’s my experience in the real life organizations and clubs I’ve volunteered in
That’s because when you just type “source?” and nothing else people perceive it as you challenging/denying the claim in a slightly hostile manner
