Then it’s time for it to become a protest again
But that’s the point. The entire administration started out from the conclusion as soon as it happened. That’s what people heard. It makes people think it was the “violent left” that did it no matter the facts
Don’t forget the arrows after the quote, though
It’s a reference to Helldivers 2, and a sufficiently brainrotted individual might very well just put internet references on there. Which he did. And it’s not like right wingers haven’t been misusing political terms for ages. Remember the term “feminazi”?
The shooter seems to have been involved in some deep internet culture and communities. You can’t just treat it like standard opinions, but under that internet lens, which is far less straightforward and filled with codewords. From an outside perspective a lot of that might seem straight up nonsensical when put together. My point is is simply that it’s inconclusive
Not that it matters much anyhow, as republicans will pin it on the left and trans people no matter what. They’re gearing up for a genocide and will use any excuse available
Musk is a shareholder. He own large parts of the companies he’s the CEO of
Frankly focusing on the carbon output of AI models is a red herring. It’s not a significant part of the problem and just makes people complacent in the form of feeling like we’ve achieved something if it succeeds. It’s not worse than stuff like video games
Focus on the actual negative effects of AI, but carbon intensity isn’t a major one
This has happened to me multiple times. And yes, I did consider it to be a serious issue. It’s too abusive of a feature
I thought I was the only one with this problem. I always kept confusing Kirk and Shapiro in my head

I will only accept an airgapped locally run and true FOSS sexbot in my home!!
I’ve literally seen people argue that since breast milk is unpasteurized then raw cow milk is fine
A joke doesn’t work when it’s indistinguishable from the stuff that people actually say
You are on a written medium, where there is no tone, body language, or otherwise wider context. What do you expect to happen? People can’t read your mind
Which by itself is a reference to the book “capitalist realism”
It’s the “Pills that make you green” comic, and it’s an intentionally thinly veiled metaphor on trans people
The thing that would scare me the most is that the parents don’t even know that such things are possible on their devices
Maybe my opinion of others is low, but I find it highly unbelievable most would even realize that something like programming is understandable, or tinkering around with music, or other stuff along those veins. Maybe drawing is still realistic though
But that would just go to show that there’s a lack of all of this in the first place, even for parents
If you block any of the unproductive apps, and allow only the productive ones, and give the kid “free” access to what they have on the iPad, they will tinker with what’s available
They might fuss around for a bit if they know there’s other stuff, but ultimately they can’t force your hand, and it should still be plenty fun to do the harder things
Putting the currency symbol after always made more sense to me. It’s how every other unit of measurement works, why should currency be different?
I can’t figure out what’s strange about her hands, and aren’t the blinds from the original image? Which I presume is real?
Not just the anglosphere, there was also a news story debunking the link here in Norway
