Can confirm. With a dog who sheds enough hair to build a statue of himself every week, a robot vacuum has been a great help. Just make sure to get one with a self-emptying bin, or your gonna be emptying it yourself after every lap around the house, and it’ll be more tedious than just vacuuming yourself.
Atleast use a Caesar’s cypher to stop casual snoopers. Storing passwords in plaintext is bad, no matter the location or medium in which its stored.
The app looks nice, but most of its features are locked behind a subscription, and still just uses google maps as its base.
I do like Organic maps, but it doesn’t have live bus timings and multi-bus route calculation like google does, so I still occasionally have to use that instead.
Fortunately I’m on GOS, and can atleast restrict gmaps from seeing my GPS location, but they’re still able to guess where I am and where im going and build data points to sell or hand over to cops based on which bus routes I look at.
Although, from an ecological point of view, asteroid mining and orbital manufacturing plants would be a good way of offloading the environmental costs of a post-scarcity society.
But nothing beats a matter replicator.

Oh, but they did.
It just doesn’t resemble the bourgeois ‘democracy’ we have in the west, but rather something else entirely that better fits the 'for the people, by the people, of the people" definition of democracy.
