How good is your german?

One of the ways i select a movie or series is by watching the poster. That tells me enough about whether it will be about male heroes and (maybe) female sidekicks or mothers in the kitchen. Particularly american ones have a lot of those movies. So, these i will not even try to watch anymore.

True, but it’s an important reason for many people to start to learn how to make their own clothes. It takes effort, but one can learn how to do this. And it used to be a very common skill. With today’s junk on the market, we have a good enough reason to start learning.

I do and it’s not even my native language. Even words like there, their, were, where, than and then, i have no issues with. One thing that does confuse me is with names, because that is used differently than my european country.

The haters often are the loudest. But if you hate, you can’t be a very happy person. I chose to be happy and kind, whatever the circumstances are. And what i discovered is that kindness is like a mirror; when i’m kind, it makes people happy. And that makes me happy too. So, kindness is like an upward spiral. Hate will have the opposite effect. If someone makes people angry, they surround themselves with angry people, which reinforces their view that they are right to be angry.

Greeting people or goodbye’s. Please don’t touch me, unless you are my child or pet. I was hoping the new covid habits of not shaking hands or hugging would become permanent, but it’s back again. And i still have this reflex of shaking hands, instead of keeping my hands in my pocket.
