Rock and stone brutha!

Is he making a promise about promises?

I don’t know about first, but she was one of the first I can remember

They’re charging up the ass for anything and everything as it is. You used to see your monthly costs go down as your car aged. We now see monthly costs increase as your car ages. At least in my area and we still have some of the absolute worst drivers on the road. It actually got worse in my rural area since the big city people have been moving out this way to reduce costs on housing.

Doom RPG was actually pretty fun. I’m really disappointed it never got updated to 64-bit so isn’t compatible with my iPhone anymore.
I think this was perfect because it wasn’t real time combat but turn based combat. I used to play it first on one of my first flip phones back in the day.

I’ve never tried it but just found this when doing a web search https://github.com/MassimilianoRozza/3dsettingsdb
My slicers have settings based on what printer I have. At least my SLA slicer does and I never have needed to touch it to dial in my prints. Your slicer doesn’t have settings based on a make and model of a printer too?

That sounds like a great idea but how is the ventilation on that setup? Does it have ventilation for letting in cool air and exhausting the hot air?

I accepted and just didn’t buy it to begin with.

I use the Apple Credit card and finance through Apple. The benefit is that I can pay as I go (and it’s 0% interest on Apple products) and the phone is effectively unlocked for any carrier you want.
Did you make this or are you just promoting it? Your post history seems to suggest you just spam links but don’t actually contribute to the posts you share. Why here on self hosted? Is this self hosted by you or someone you know?

Security did an audit of everyone’s usage into our network and determined that no one was using Linux, so no reason to keep it unblocked. Most users used Windows and some used macOS, but no Linux usage seen, so why not just block it to close off one possible vector. If you try to connect using Linux, even with the right credentials and MFA, you’ll get a block message that your device is not allowed. I had been planning on switching full time to Linux, but hadn’t yet otherwise my usage would have showed up on their report and they might not have blocked it.
The security at my job is very tight. Most things are blocked unless there is a specific need or use for it. The head of security is very strict on access and keen to block things until multiple people cry for it to be unblocked and for a reason he agrees with.
As part of the larger project of blocking access, he blocked most personal devices to access our systems. My team was excluded with some heavy deterrents to it and an agreement for us to use company managed cloud PCs for all the work we do. Myself and others don’t want company devices while we work from home and prefer to use our own devices so this was part of the compromise.
I honestly probably could have made a stink about it, and maybe not even that much effort since I have a friendlier relationship to the head of security than others, and we may have kept Linux unblocked, but I decided to just go along with it and get a Mac instead. The policy has helped in ensuring unauthorized access is kept to a minimum. We routinely get targeted by malicious parties and our users are often getting tricked by phish and malware campaigns (even with training and routine simulation tests on the users), so I can’t exactly blame him for choosing this.
TL;DR: Just one less thing to worry about.

Same thing I’m feeling watching this.
Also got a MacBook Air for work because my company recently blocked Linux. Ugh…but I’m loving the MacBook more than I thought. Haven’t gone to Windows for non-work reasons in over a week now and been gaming on Linux with few issues.

It could, but nobody reads blogs for it to be profitable.
I say as someone with a Blogger that is monetized but gets no revenue, even with an active viewerbase.

All my life and I never looked it up to see why they were called that.
Also always wondered as a kid about that Italian guy in the California Raisins VHS I watched on repeat and now that makes sense too https://youtu.be/aPCOfuXYRhs at 13:08 mark. The full thing is still great to watch, if anyone is interested. I apparently busted a few couches dancing to this as a kid lol
Microsoft, ironically. The one time they were right.
Granted, it wasn’t in anyone’s best interests but their own for not wanting anyone else to have kernel level access.

I have some buds that do this and you have the ability to download languages for offline use and those work just fine.
Apple could do the same. They may not, but this is one of those features that needs offline use more than others. Some remote village where no cell towers exist, underground where no cell towers or satellite can penetrate and no WiFi exists, indoors where cell towers are difficult to penetrate and WiFi is not always an option…
Hopefully they will.
Looking forward to a swipe on the alarm instead of a button. I’ve gotten used to hitting that in my sleep, so hopefully this helps.
Even better would be to allow us to have a randomizer that randomly switches between those, if we choose to enable on a per alarm basis. And also adds new ones like a pattern toggle.
