Thank you!
Thank you!
We should really start concentrating more on decentralization.
Take Freifunk as example and similar projects.
What we need is a user-run private alternative to the internet. Wireless mesh networks are a very interesting step in that direction.
As long the infrastructure is owned by the government and companies, we will never be really free.
Isn’t RCS for the most part using Google services and servers? I don’t know if that really is that much better.
To my knowledge, the original idea to have RCS be operated by the mobile providers is pretty much dead.

And then you need the chair and move the whole pile to the bed, just to move it back in the evening. repeat for 10 years. Now that I’ve moved, everything will be better, i swear.

So basically discord finally got a usable search. I count that as a win.
One? Easely 10.
That some messed up US thing i never understood. Here in germany you are anonymous by default when you win. at most it is published from what state the winner was.
That someone’s name and even address is published is so completely unimaginably absurd to me. makes no sense whatsoever.
Thanks for the clarification. Appreciate it.
To my knowledge are the lemmy.world guys from the netherlands. At least the 2 admins. And the FediHosting Foundation lemmy.world (and e.g. mastodon.world, etc) belongs to is in the Netherlands.
No idea about dessalines though. but i don’t think russia either.
Marco Rubio can eat the peanuts out of my shit.
With best regards from a hopefully soon fascist-free Germany.
That may very well be. Ukraine managed to destroy quite a lot depots already, as far as I remember. And Russia had already problems of keeping up either way because of lack of specific resources, I think.
Something along that line. This display is too small and my fingers too fat to actually check that right now.
It’s hard to find reliable data about that. The last good information is from 2022 and says that Russia has stored around 1 million tons of ammunition. That would mean Ukraine just wiped out 26% of everything Russia had.
However, since it is very likely that Russia has produced a lot more since the war began, it’s hard to tell how much they actually lost today.
The only other number I could find was one that says that each day Russia uses around 26000 rounds of ammunition (artillery).
And since I’m a lazy fuck that is already lying in bed and I only have my smartphone here, I’ll let AI do the estimates and calculations.
Under the premise that most things in that depot was artillery ammo, and we roughly know the weight of a round and as said how much they use per day we can estimate they burn through 1218 tons of ammunition per day.
That would mean Ukraine just destroyed around 220 days of ammunition.
But as said, that’s just a wild guess based on some very vague numbers that I don’t have double checked now.
I got 150 hours out of this game and I think that is very much all i will ever play.
For a good while it was even quite interesting because there were still a lot of new things to discover.
But then you started to do things just to get them done not because they were particularly fun or interesting.
If they don’t implement some fundamental new way to play this game or combine existing mechanics better together I don’t think anything could pull me back.
And i hope procedural generation starts to die very soon. Throwing the same basic ingredience into a mixer does not give you something new but more of the same. It’s boring.
