  • And the same people who always say “it’s too soon to talk about it” and “let’s not make it political” whenever someone brings up gun control after a school shooting.

Personally, I think they are scared. They took the mask off too far with all of their extreme right wing rhetoric and were probably surprised themselves at his little push back they received. Feeling emboldend they kept pushing.

All of a sudden they realise there might be, the most extreme, consequences from the positions they’ve publicly espoused, and they can’t just walk it back. So they’re panicking.

That, or it’s a conspiracy and one of them did it to give themselves permission to go full fascist.

I feel like it had to be. It’s too subtly funny for the rock, while also taking a stand on something, which, and I don’t follow him closely, so I could be wrong, I don’t think he tends to do.

I would have thought he wasn’t the queens biggest fan though, given his people and the brits history

  • They want to bomb the middle east, but harder.

It’s not even that they’re “the same”, it’s that they have similar approaches, but one is much worse.

Everyone lolmemes about republicans dropping bombs and Democrats dropping bombs with rainbow flags like it’s some deep insight, but all this does is massively benefit the right.

It sews disengagement from the left and people “protest vote”, then the people that do the thing they’re protesting against worse than get into power.

Unfortunately in a two party system, such as the US, it’s better to vote for the less bad one than neither, even if the one you vote for doesn’t do everything you’d like them to

  • If you ever needed proof that people/companies worth lots of money didn’t earn it, you can look at twitter as a great example. He pretty much did everything wrong. Massively overpaid for it, lowered the companies valuation significantly, lost a lot of users, advertisers etc.

Somehow it still exists and is relavent and hadn’t hurt musks wealth.

Sorry, that was a typo, “shark jumpy”. It jumps the shark quite a bit.

I wouldn’t personally say the show is must watch. But it is pretty decent soft horror, retro, sci-fi, mystery, adventure entertainment.

I guess my time is a lot more constrained these days and my list of shows to watch, movies to see, and games up play grows faster than it’s consumed. So I really have to prioritise

  • Everyone has different experiences, but it’s very hit and miss for me. Sometimes it gives some very useful boiler plate, saving me quite a bit of time, sometimes it hallucinates some insane stuff that isn’t related to what I asked or makes functions that don’t return, or call each other.

Like defining a function “getTheThing” then later calling “getSomethingElse” that doesn’t exist. It’s a simple enough error to fix, but sometimes it’s so close to “correct” that debugging it takes quite a lot to find, because it looks right.
