To be fair, Mika Aaltola is known in Finland as a noted populist and doomsayer that has a flair for the dramatic. His foreign policy predictions have also been pretty much all wrong since before the start of war in Ukraine.

I’d take anything he says or leaks with a big spoon of salt.

Tried it with a Nvidia card. The graphics were oddly blurry and grainy, especially anything in shadows, no matter the settings. Couldnt get past that. I’m not going to play potentially dozens of hours of nausea simulator.

Niven in general is an excellent writer and a great worldbuilder, I highly recommend pretty much all of his works.

There’s also a Larry Niven sci fi novel that sort of revolves around potassium in many points of the story. I really like it, I’ve re-read it a few times.

For some reason all the soy and oat milks I’ve tried taste terribly sour and bitter to me. At times I think “am I going crazy”, when people around me describe them tasting sweet.
