Wooting’s pretty great with their webapp.
I know there are some reaction channels that actively give insight on what they are reacting to and pausing and breaking things down as they watch. Scru Face Jean is one of those, and while I don’t really know much or care about rap and rap culture, he has been a great watch on his rap battle reactions.
Resolution - having a big screen at the same resolution doesn’t really mean much, and you usually don’t really go higher than 4K for computer monitors. Yes, there are 8K TVs, but good luck being able to afford one.
Performance - if you want to go big, you’re probably thinking of TV screens, and TVs generally just aren’t built for colour accuracy, low latency, or high refresh rates.
Cost - bigger computer monitors are pricier. Besides, if you are upgrading your monitor anyways, well, your old one can just become your secondary display; it’s free screen estate.
Ergonomics - it takes less effort to look from side to side than it is to look up and down. With multiple smaller screens, you can arrange them all to face you cockpit-style; with a giant screen, the edges will look distorted unless you buy a curved display.
Software - most OSs can snap windows to the four quadrants of each display; anything smaller or more unique, and you will have to manually resize each window.
Practicality - if you’re working, gaming, or watching a movie, you want to dedicate an entire screen to your task at hand. Having multiple monitors lets you do that while still being able to check other things on the side. For example, when I stream games, I can play while having my OBS and Twitch stats on the side; when I do any design work, I can pull up references on my secondary display. The black bars are a non-issue.
i already have tinnitus; i literally can’t sleep without some noise to block it out.
raised anglican, went atheist, and now i worship daddy
Don’t do that; modern dishwashers already do an amazing job of that, so you’d just be wasting water and effort, which defeats the whole point of dishwashers in the first place.
If anything, just scrape any solids into the trash with a utensil before loading your dishes into the dishwasher.
This is an awesome reason to go vegetarian holy shit.
All the reasons I’ve heard have mostly been issues of morality and some ecology.
hmm, idk man, over here 他 is only for men, and 她 is only for women.

we all know american car-centric infrastructure is fuckin evil.
look, you probably know this already, but cars are still the only practical option for most americans; they don’t really have a choice. suburbia is subsidized, and so it simply makes financial sense to live in the suburbs, especially if they can’t afford to live closer to where they work and shop.
it’s great that you care about transportation infrastructure. engage in discussions to inform, of course, but do recognize that it’s policy, not people, at fault.
nope!
a lot of these are terrible, made by an animator who doesn’t understand design and just wants to make lines move for the heck of it.
before i engage with you on this, i’d like to ask you a few questions:
are you eligible to vote in the US
who do you plan on voting for
if you, gun to your head, have to choose between harris or trump, who would you prefer?
EDIT: it has been two days and the person i’m replying to still hasn’t responded. if one is unwilling to engage in constructive discourse, one should not make wild claims.
iOS is probably the worst choice if you want to sideload apps. I would recommend sticking with Android and run your Samsung into the ground (maybe flash a custom ROM?) before getting something like a Fairphone.
Besides, what do you want to be “passionate” about in mobile phones? To me, they’re just tools for browsing the web, playing games, and staying in contact with friends and family while on the go; anything extra is superficial.
I’d just keep it simple. It’s a YouTube video, not a college essay.
