How did you hit the water? were you aiming for a belly flop, or dive? or were you just jumping in without thinking of the other? What injuries did you sustain if any?

You know what they say about what happens when you jump into a car with a single Nazi, now you have 2 nazis sitting in a car. JK. Aslo, i should mention, I think you mean to type: "I’m paraphrasing, so no exactly her words since if you’re paraphrasing they wouldn’t be her exact words.
IDK if I would call any of the two elections you mentioned “rigged” as I feel people think of that word to mean direct fraud (votes changed for instance). That being said, seemingly both elections were influenced by Russian mis and disinformation campaigns which puts into question what the response should be. This are not honest elections and, thankfully for Romania, they are able to and seemingly are doing something about this campaign of influence. For the US, which I’m assuming was heavily influenced by Social Media during this last election, nothing should be done, except to make some changes moving forward.
Never done it before. I think there’s an export button that provides a file. You could check that out to see if it provides your subscripted communities.
I mean, we’re in an English post, and the US is the 3rd most populated country in the world. Looking at Wikipedia, the next country after the US that has a majority of its citizens with English as a first language is the UK with about 1/3 of the population as the US. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_English-speaking_population
Not to mention, crazy things that happen to the US can affect other countries as well. Especially negative things would have an affect on other countries. The US is the country with the highest GDP in the world, and if we get a recession, with our globally connected world, others feel it as well. The reverse is also true but dependent on the countries relation to the US. China, being a high GDP country with strong trade and financial ties to the US could also cause huge problems to the US should it encounter a recession.
If he is reelected, then SK Is at least as bad as the US. If they don’t,then they’re a way better country
The race ain’t over till it’s over. America will come out on top. 'MERICA! Fucking hope we don’t win this race
I’m a leading scientist on speed, and this is the answer.
You’re right my original statement could have been worded better. I’ve edited it, and responded to the other user with some clarifications. https://sh.itjust.works/post/28117434/15082665
Sure I’ll clarify. The implication from your statement is that raw milk can kill half of cats very frequently, which is seemingly untrue. What seems to be the situation is that raw milk from cows infected with the bird flu can lead to a 50% fatality rate for cats that drink it. So if cats consume raw milk, will there be a near 50% fatality rate? Not necessarily, but it seems like that would be the case if the cows in question are infected with the bird flu (based on articles).
The reason why I want to differentiate between what you said, and the article is I can imagine someone saying: “nearly half of cats die drinking raw milk!” to which a skeptic may find online people talking about cats not dying at such a high rate from drinking raw milk, leaving out the fact that the bird flu infected cows is the issue. This can dissuade skeptics from believing the reality that raw milk increases the chances of illness from the bird flu, as well as other sicknesses.
If I’m wrong about the fact that nearly 50% of cats are dying, all the time, from raw milk, feel free to provide an article so i can educate myself.
You’re sort of right ( based on the article I think you read about) The cats drank bird flu contaminated raw milk which led to them dying. For that reason, raw milk is dangerous to humans because pasteurized milk wouldn’t be as dangerous. have reduced the chances of the bird flu, and other illnesses, from people that drink it.

I don’t watch cable TV. I get free Disney plus which includes ads. For these I do in fact mute them. I find ads annoying.
If i could change time to allow Biden to run, i would do so only because Harris running in the situation that she did, didn’t work out regardless.
But I kind of don’t think he would have won either. The debate performance plus “his bad economy” I think we’re too impactful. I think the only chance, if any, was Biden not running, and us actually having a chance to select a candidate.
The biggest hurdle I would say is the disinformation war that reality is losing against Russia/MAGA.
Not domeone who has given up gaming, but I stopped gaming for a bit with the hope I would be more productive. Not long, short bursts of a couple of months. I hated it because I would still spend time doing “unproductive” things, but even worse, it felt like I wasn’t doing anything actually fun. Like, I’m scrolling on Reddit or Lemmy for like 2 hours? Sure I read quite a bit, but there’s a lot of uneducationa posts, as well as a lot of time spent scrolling because I was on it for so long that the good posts I got through quickly.
At least with video games, I get a sense of learning, and challenging myself.
I’m not to familiar with radio apps. Why do people like them over more popular streaming services like Spotify or pandora? The video mentions she likes a more human touch, but I’m not certain about the details.
The video was extremely informative about the app though!
I agree that a lot of disinformation comes from snd is aimed at the US.
For Lemmy, idk. On one hand, it could also be restricted. I can imagine restrictions being dependent on the size of the website in terms of traffic and posting.
On the other, if there isn’t such a huge impact because of it’s size, then restrictions aren’t necessary.
For larger website that allow political discussions and reach a lot of people, yes I think verification would help tackle disinformation. Same thing that happens to websites that don’t follow GDPR is what I would imagine.
If you have suggestions for dealing with foreign disinformation, I’m all ears
What I mean by that is no anonymous posting. A big issue is that you have thousands of bots pushing fake messages. It’s worse with algorithms where the company can control how many people certain messages reach. But places like Lemmy and reddit aren’t immune either. I still remember seeing how crazy reddit went during 2016 elections. All of a sudden a ton of pro Trump people were there. I couldn’t trust a lot of news, pro or against Trump, because there would be false information posted (false anti information I bet also posted by Russian bots for this reason as well.)
As of now, we’re basically allowing Russia, China and Iran to influence our citizens. That’s partially why MAGA has such a an alternate view Trump. They don’t ever hear the bad news about him, or just don’t believe it.
It’s starting to feel more like we shouldn’t allow political ads or discussions online without restrictions. Foreign actors and idiots are too quick to spread misinformation. If people want to get an idea of what others believe in, then go talk with other real people. This feels more like kids learning how to socialize from online games. People are dicks online, and you can interact with people that way in real life
Oh dang, so there’s also a chance you hit the bottom of the water as well? Hope you’re fully recovered now.
