No, it was a super remote part of the coast of Maine. I was thinking it could be some kind of navy technology, but it’s funner to imagine it was aliens.

I’ve seen 2. The first was when my girlfriend and I were sitting by the ocean alone after walking down a long dirt road. The sun had just gone down and we were just staring out at the water. We both see this star come up from the water then float around in circles for a few minutes then go back down into the water and disappear. That was about 7 years ago.
Also, last year I was getting off the highway on my way home and I see something huge just hanging above the river. It was just floating in place. There wasn’t a quick way to get back to the river so I didn’t go back to investigate, but I still hope I see it again one day.
Unfortunately, I’ve worked with a lot of republicans in my lifetime. Hating overpaid CEOs and thinking insurance is a scam are 2 of the only things I’ve seen republicans and democrats agree on. Good fucking luck convicting him.
The people who benefit from the way the world currently works will fight like hell to not acknowledge that there is any other way of existing. I imagine it was the same for women when they wanted to break free from their dependance on men.
Same dude. I was hired as a level one even though I’ve been in the field off and on for about 15 years. My company just hired someone over me who hasn’t worked in IT since the late 90s. If you ask him about anything he claims to have worked with it, even things like CardDAV which wasn’t a thing until 2011. If you ask him any in depth questions he brushes them off without giving an actual answer and everyone just buys into his bullshit. It’s crazy how many people will take you at your word if you’re a straight laced clean cut white guy.

And I’ve worked in sweltering heat with high humidity and it’s a lot easier for a layman to survive the heat than the cold. You need gear and burning resouces to survive the cold. All you need with the heat is some shade and maybe a dip in the river/lake/pool. Like I said in my other comment, there’s a reason homeless flock to warm climates. It’s easier to survive.
There are extremes at both ends. I live in a place where you have to pay for heat 6 months out of the year to survive. Most of the warm climates I’ve lived in have 1-2 unbearable months max. Why do you think you see so many homeless in warm climates?
