4·12 days agoI got one one time, been using it for years. Fuckin’ weird to try on people who are privacy and security conscious. My guess is that they were attempting to see what numbers are using signal in the first place if someone responds with a “fuck off” then the spammer knows they use signal.
In my state the librarian can have a warrant issued for your arrest if you fail to return or pay for books worth over a certain amount after giving proper notice. It’s either $50 or $100 iirc.
This kind of sucks for people who have made automation scripts. It could also have consequences for site owners if it affects accessibility tools for disabled users. It could even be considered malicious under certain laws. If you use something like this you should also have an API.
“Just following orders” maybe they should get a union job at UPS. That’s why I ship bigger items with them and not FedEx. USPS is just not set up for packages over a certain size or I would use them for everything.
FedEx better not come to my neighborhood.
They already started fucking up package delivery with longer times. Priority mail is up to 4 days now. They closed a bunch of local sorting facilities and send everything to larger regional facilities. My guess is that they will privatize those if they aren’t already. Say goodbye to eBay. I already started boycotting FedEx years ago for sucking.
In my state it’s not stalking if you don’t make any threats. You don’t have an expectation of privacy in public. That’s the argument they use with license plate cameras and other warrantless survelance, tracking, facial recognition, etc.
Can’t you guys just lure American forces into the woods and attack them like Ewoks?
I can use an sdr to read your water meter and determine how often you go to the bathroom, shower, wash your clothes, and when you’re home and it’s not illegal. I’m allowed to follow you around and take your picture as much as I want to. I can print off as many pictures of you as I want in public and wallpaper my whole house with your face and body, there’s nothing you can do about it. I can do an 8 hour video essay about you and share this with everyone. As long as the info is publicly available (or not in most U.S. states), it’s legal.

People will just make custom firmware and drivers.
