I’m very happy with the Mullvad VPN. The Tor Browser is great, too.
Of the three, Signal is the most secure. Now in about 2.5 seconds, someone is going to start screaming about the phone number requirement. This is used so that you can go from desktop to mobile with the same profile. You can set Signal to hide your phone number from everyone else but you. It’s a non-issue.
There is a reason why Elon Musk doesn’t let people post about Signal on his Nazi social network. Because it works.
Bioshock is a true classic, in my opinion. The setting still intrigues me to this day, and I finished the game many years ago. I was very disappointed when the proposed movie did not make it to the big screen.
What’s interesting is that if you go directly to an Invidious instance through your browser, everything works perfectly. At least, it did for me.
DuckDuckGo is generally considered the more private of the two. And StartPage had some shady issues a while back, but I can’t for the life of me remember what they were…
No, I understand that. I was just commenting on how weird it is that some people would take that position when there’s no evidence that I can see that it’s actually true. No worries, my friend! :)
.ml is considered ‘Tankie’?? First I’ve heard of this, and I’ve yet to see anything that would give any kind of credence to that claim. How weird…
I think we’re the ones being used… ;)
At this point, if you’re still using anything even remotely connected to Elon Musk, you get what you deserve. I’m not saying that to be an asshole, either. It’s just a simple fact.
Anyone can make a mistake. Sometimes we have to answer for those mistakes. Painfully.
Sure, you have a right to Free Speech - you can say whatever you like. I also have the right to not do business with you, to not hire you, to remember your face and call you out on the street and let eeeeeeveryone in my neighborhood know who you are and what you do, and to not allow you to use my online services.
The exact same scenario played out with Steve Bannon, and Trump fired him. I’m don’t see Elon faring much better.
LOL…this is glorious! Elon’s firing to commence in T minus 10…9…8…
I will always recommend Posteo. https://posteo.de/en
This isn’t really all that hard to understand. Just follow the money. That’s all you have to do.
Actually as of 2024, 31.5% of internet users worldwide use an adblocker. Source: https://backlinko.com/ad-blockers-users
Trust me, they don’t. ;)
Great point. :)
You’d better get ready to fight for it, because it’s coming. This administration doesn’t give two shits about your rights and freedoms.
