  • How, if possible, can I log in to say, discuss.online above, with this account. Or do I need to make a second account over there.

You can view/comment/vote on all of the content there while logged into lemmy.world. As an example, you should be able to click this [email protected] and participate there. or [email protected].

Also, related, is there a way to just, use my Mastodon account, and drop this one completely?

I am not a fan of “microblogging”, so I am not 100% certain. I have seen a lot of posts/comments from Mastodon on lemmy instances, they are the people using hashtags.

Kbin and Mbin are Lemmy-like systems that also hooks into microblogging much easier, so you might be able to do a one account thing there much easier.

Again, not certain because microblogging is not my jam.

  • Infowars was/is a media company, Alex Jones’ show was on TV and online.
They are known for peddling and creating far right conspiracy theories, and because of this were often banned from social media websites for breaking their Terms of Service.
Because Elon is a right-wing conspiracy theorist who likes Alex Jones, he unbanned infowars from Twitter when he(Elon) bought it.

Inforwars was recently sued into the ground because of the claims he made to his audience about the victims of school shootings and their families. Because of this, he was ordered to have his assets liquidated.
The Onion (a satirical news/comedy website) won the bid for Inforwars and its assets, and Elon isn’t a fan of this, so he’s trying to not allow The Onion access to the Inforwars Twitter account.

  • Yet, you only streamed because you needed to pay rent, or didn’t you?

It’s pretty fun to having guys go on and on about how big/suckable your dick is and how much they want you to fuck them. If I was single I’d probably do it again, even without being paid.

Also, I did not propose immediately anything that would threaten the activity in the way you practiced it

When you responded to @[email protected], you said that you were against all porn.

To be clear, I’m reading your response as against porn in all forms and for all audiences based on your wording, is that what you mean?

    Yes.

I was showing one of the many examples of being in the sex industry, without any abuse and without it being “paid rape” as you put it. You didn’t say “some”, “a lot”, or even “most”. You simply generalized all sex work as harmful to the worker/performer.

My problem with pornography is the reality of it as well as the reality of prostitution in general. The porn industry is the home of abuse, in every sense. First in the rawest sense, the physical and mental abuse that actresses go through; second in the reproduction and propagation of the culture of abuse, considering that it is the most recurrent theme in porn films; third in the economic sense, pornography, like prostitution in general, is the sale of consent: the actress or prostitute receives money to have sex with someone she would not have sex with under other circumstances, in short: paid rape.
