There’s always too many people when you ask a person like this about the population, but never enough people when you ask the same person the same question but include skin color in the question. F everyone who whines about population.
I’m just a random transfem on the internet. A cat assigned dog at birth. A girl just trying to make it in a cruel and unforgiving world.

I played the beta weekend, I liked it. I want to play it again once it’s out in June, although there were annoying parts. The sun gives you heat stroke or something as a status meter, and it makes you dehydrate faster until you get to shade. With how often you’re out doing stuff in the sun, it was kind of annoying, because I just had to keep going on blood harvesting trips through NPC camps, to proccess it at my base to keep my water stocked. But in the full game with better tech unlocked, I’m sure it ends up being fine.
A lot of people also got pissed at the sandworm because if you get eaten, all your stuff is destroyed with no way to recover it (unlike a normal death where you can loot your corpse), and sometimes it can feel abrupt when they breach. That said, I never got eaten ny the sandworm in my ~15 hours of play during the beta.
Since it’s stuck in a loop, maybe its conditions are somehow being reset to fresh and hot as it’s pulled over the panel edge. Or else, that thing is ice cold, rock hard, and completely inhospitable to microbial life, since from its perspective, it’s probably been looping for a long, long time.
They’re going to turn around and say the anticompetitive and illegal behavior they’re watching for is “dei hiring,” and that these companies’ employees aren’t white or straight enough. Or else it’ll be when companies refuse to comply with “the spirit of” any of Trump’s next 5000 pre-written unhinged executive orders that wouldn’t apply to private business, like calling women or minorities humans or something.
That legislation really needed an extra factor to show how carcinogenic something is. That everything is carcinogenic is terribly unhelpful, but if we knew this thing was a very low risk carcinogen and that thing was very high risk, it might have actually been useful instead of the butt of a joke. The laziness of the politicians who penned it frustrates me every time people make posts like this.
And yes, the carcinogen is Nintendo.
What they neglected to explain was that Cyberpunk Red is the fourth, and latest, edition of the Cyberpunk tabletop RPG on which Cyberpunk 2077’s world and game mechanics are based. This document they included in the game files is a rule book for that.
I mind it. In isolation it would be fine, but with their ignorance, these types punish and harm their families, mainly their children, who would otherwise just grow up to cut contact with them anyway, long as they didn’t end up sharing their views. Plus when it’s disease, they just have to walk near a person who isn’t another conservative to spread it. As we learned from covid, the best person to be wearing the mask is the sick one, and they don’t play along.
CDDA is a 2D top down roguelike survival game, set in an apocalypse where zombies, aliens, hellspawn and so many other horrible things have shown up everywhere and completely pushed back humanity to the brink of extinction. There are so many real world items like specific gun brands and models, foods with lots of recipes to make bigger and better meals with, recreational drugs tucked into drawers and the pockets of felled zombies.
You could play like a survivalist hobo out in the woods living off the land away from all the carnage and sipping pine needle tea all day while tending to your crops, or explore cities overrun with undead and using night to cover your tracks as you hop through open windows, climb up downspouts and leap from roof to roof. Or you could head down into secret labs to loot cybernetic implants and mutagenic compounds to become something more than human.
You could do quests for NPC factions and also build a team of NPC followers of your own so that you can (over a long period of time and a significant resource investment) build up the structures in your own custom settlement, sending your followers out on missions.
Or you can find enough materials, tools, vehicle parts and mechanics skill books, to become a master mechanic and build up your own custom armored super car, once you tire of walking or bicycling everywhere or driving a bog standard sedan you fixed up off the road.
The controls are very complicated, and if you’re the type to get mad when the devs change or nerf something you were used to, you’ll be pissed a lot. Some of the things I said may not even be accurate any more, I know custom vehicle construction got way harder after the last time I played, among other things, but otherwise it’s one of the most intricate and complex games out there, in a usually fun way, with very good mod support.
You’re still making them do something they didn’t consent to. They will still chew on bugs and small prey animals (when they get access to them, which isn’t often for indoor cats), because it’s etched into their behavior. They will take every opportunity they get. You can’t make a cat vegan, you can only force a cat on a vegan diet. Can’t you understand the qualitative difference there?
A person understands the reason they’re eating only plants with no animal byproducts. An animal doesn’t. An animal is just confused and irritated that their food was changed for the worse by their owner. If their diet and mountain of supplement pills/powders did not actually meet their dietary needs because it wasn’t an exact match for their regular food or natural prey, they would still end up malnourished. And not every cat’s dietary needs are the same or stay the same as they age.
Malnourished or not, you also wouldn’t be able to stop your cat from finding a mouse or insect which snuck into your home and devouring them to enhance their compromised diet. You cannot make a carnivore vegan, you can only abuse them into living in a way they do not naturally live and do not want to live, until they find a way to avoid you for just long enough to go against your wishes and savage another animal, as is their instinctive nature.
Furthermore, do you really think animals have no joy in what they eat, that that’s only a human quality? Nutrition doesn’t matter to the animal, they just want to eat what they want to eat. Cats almost never turn down an offer of cream or milk despite 90% or more of them being lactose intolerant. It’s not nutrients their body needs or can absorb, and actively makes them feel ill. But they want it anyway because it’s tasty and they aren’t able to consider the consequences of their actions as far in advance as humans can.
Edit: In fact, going off that same point but for humans, you could probably make a human live off some kind of tasteless nutrient bar that gives everything you could need, but it wouldn’t mean they’d enjoy it. Oh wait, we did do that before, as a cruel punishment for prisoners in the US, fucking nutraloaf!
These statements don’t seem mutually exclusive.
