Sarah Michelle Gellar will always be Buffy Summers to me.

Have to ask if the version you watched is the extended (or proper) ending? There’s the US version which cuts off the true ending which is shown in the UK (at least) version. The truer ending makes it even more disturbing.
The only horror that has really had an effect on me is The Descent. I think it’s the claustrophobic nature of being underground and then hunted by those things. I can’t think of any other horror that has sent a shiver literally all the way down my spine before.
Just done a reread of these and would gladly reread again.
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (all 5 books in the series)
They are short enough that you could easily read all of them in a couple months at a steady pace.
As a weekly player with friends, bees and cuccos are pretty fun when they show up. My favourite though is definitely the Home Run bat. So satisfying to hit each player with it.
I have watched this every Christmas Eve for the past 10 years or more. Absolutely the best version of A Christmas Carol for me. I have an old version with Belles song still in it that was cut as that’s the version I always remembered and loved.
Whilst Stitch looks visually great in the teaser, I just think Lilo and Stitch works better as an animated film.
From what I remember reading, yes there is some added content from the books that is not in the musical stage adaptation. I think it’s more of Elphaba’s childhood (which is quite a bit in the book).
Also remember reading that one of the reasons they decided to split it was because they couldn’t find a reasonable way to move on after “Defying Gravity” (This is the big number before intermission in the musical and really does feel like the end of that chapter) to the next scene in the film, so they decided to split the films too. Not saying it was the best way to go but maybe it means they can add more book related stuff to the second half too. The musical is sorely lacking there too.
I’ve always read hardware to mean the console itself and software to mean the games when it comes to consoles. So I would expect the games to be playable whether they are digital or physical games. I’ve seen nothing to suggest Nintendo want to go the digital only route anytime soon.
I’m gonna say Jet Force Gemini. It’s not hard in that enemies or bosses are difficult, though some were. It was those damn Tribals. You had to save every single one of them if you wanted to beat the game, and some were a pain to save without them getting killed.
The Simpsons
Power Rangers
Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
These are from young child up to late teens/20s
“Cheer up, it may never happen”
I’m sorry but if I’m not in a good mood or I’m sad it’s because something has happened to make me feel like it.
The only trick that worked for me was this.
Had been hiccuping for probably 5 minutes. Nothing working. Someone came up to me and just said “hiccup for me now” just waited for that hiccup. Kept asking for me to hiccup for maybe 30 seconds to a minute. Gone. No more hiccups.
All I want is analog triggers back so that we can get racing games with proper acceleration and braking.
Jurassic Park. Those dinos beat many of today’s CGI films. Mixed in with the animatronic ones they just blend in so well. The story is simple (to quote Dr Malcolm) God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs. There are so many quotable lines, as shown just now, and the music is pretty unforgettable too.
Very lovely visual representation made there.
However none of that helps when you get hit by three red shells, lightning and a Spiny shell on the last lap to go from 1st to 6th lol
Not sure if these would be unexpectedly high values as most people know they fetch a little bit, but I have all my old N64 games still boxed with most of the original inserts too. The one I know most would be Conkers Bad Fur Day, that always seems to fetch a nice price.
A couple of my Funko Pop figures are possibly worth a few hundred but nothing more.
And I have the full set of Hobbit and Lord of the Rings Lego sets which I know go for a bit over the original price.
It shows how bad the WiiU failed when its software numbers are lower than the hardware numbers for the Switch.
Two. Disney+ and WWE Network (UK so it’s still standalone). Always been a Disney fan so it’s a no brainier for me to have access to all the films and shows so easily. And the UK version has Star included so there’s other films to randomly find too. WWE Network is still the only way to go about it here, £9.99 a month (still, it’s never increased) and that pretty much is half what you would pay for the PLE each month. Plus NXT is now only on there in the UK so more than enough to justify the price for me.
Everything else I set sail for.
Strikers and Charged (on the Wii) are much better games. And I think that just comes down to there being a bit more single player stuff in these. The Switch one was mainly focused on online matches. I had some fun with it and got some great games in with friends but I remember having more fun with the others. The new one could benefit from Switch 2’s Game Chat feature though as you could play 2v2 with friends making it easier to communicate when playing.
