  • I planted my garden this year and then had that realization, so I divorced my husband and lost my garden. I went back and grabbed all the veggies from it 3 months later: some small potatoes, some peppers, small onions, and I grabbed my baby strawberry plants that survived the summer without regular watering. My ex has admitted he let my garden die. Be the change you want to see in the world

  • This and not this at the same time.

Definitely don’t go so far that you only use drugs and alcohol to cope. Speaking from experience the pain and anxiety just grows and festers unfortunately. I took up weed as a vice to keep these exact thoughts from plaguing my existence: “How could the people who taught me empathy and love believe that CEOs are the minority; and victims of the greedy poor while they’re sitting on stacks of money.”

It doesn’t make sense how their logic got so twisted… but then it does.

Like my parents would confiscate my phone and my laptop and comb through my texts and search history to dig for proof I was sinning behind their backs (Key logger gang wya?) ≈ Similarly, the Patriot Act passed 2 years after I was born it robbed individuals of their freedom to online privacy.

Seems like my parents were actually the deep state all along (and my dependence on weed is justified imo)

My parents are happy I got a divorce from my husband because we are two men and their bible says thats a sin (we had other problems like he cheated on me)

  • Yeah but then there’s still no buy in from friends and family. They are most likely going to retort “Well none of my friends use it”. We could have open source social media in 2020s but people don’t want to use something they don’t know. Meta is comfortable for them and they are OK with being tracked and monitored by Meta intelligence, its stupid that they rather live like that but only they can change their minds

  • My Costco is physically less than mile away but you have to cross two major strodes and a four lane bridge thats only for car travel. There’s an alternative route but I have to backtrack 2 miles to get to the pedestrians safe bridge then the two miles to get to Costco from the ped bridge. Why can’t the four lane strode have a partial bike lane?? It would save me hours of commute and I live in pretty bikable city. I’m doing Critical Mass for the second time this Friday, I highly recommend it, its a lot of fun
