Deadly violence is continuing in Sweden, with three people killed overnight in separate incidents near Stockholm and in a city west of the capital.

Three people were killed overnight in separate incidents in Sweden as deadly violence linked to a feud between criminal gangs escalated.

Late Wednesday, an 18-year-old man was shot dead in a Stockholm suburb. Hours later, one man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in Jordbro, south of the Swedish capital.

Early Thursday a woman in her 20s died in an explosion in Uppsala, west of Stockholm. The blast, which damaged five houses, is being treated by the police as a murder. Swedish media said the woman who died was likely not the intended victim and that the target was the house next door.

Swedish broadcaster SVT noted that the two fatal shootings bring the death toll from gun violence in September to 11, making it the deadliest month for shootings since police started keeping statistics in 2016.

    I’m surprised at this. A lot of the people getting killed are family members of people affiliated with the gangs. Pretty crazy that some of these have also attacked people at the wrong address. This is like Breaking Bad but for real and the people involved are not particularly smart nor spectacular.

      The people doing the killings are indiscriminate monsters. Multiple times an innocent person has gotten killed instead of the intended target. A few weeks ago a 70 year old blind man got gunned down because he was at the same pub as a gang member. Yesterday a womans home got blown up, and the woman died. The intended target was her neighbour.

      I can’t even begin to describe the burning hatred that I feel for the people in these gangs, most gangs use young teens as killers since they’re more likely to get a more lenient sentence and are easy to manipulate. Because of these people I don’t feel safe in my own home. I worry that our new neighbour might have gang connections and we’ll be the next innocent victims.

      I truly wish the gang members and especially their leaders a horrifying death.
