IMO a slimey headline which obscures a detail:
Just to clarify, we are not the Nikki Haley affiliated PAC.
And Nikki herself has disavowed it.

Say what you will about it, the intention to me seems to be associating support for Haley with support for Biden (and now Harris), which is basically a lie.
I think you are being a bit too harsh.
The point is that a PAC that used to raise money for, and support, Nikki Haley now supports Harris.
Which conceivably indicates that some of the Haley voters will switch to Harris.
That is newsworthy and it doesn’t mean that Haley endorses Harris.
The point is that a PAC that used to raise money for, and support, Nikki Haley now supports Harris.
This is technically true but doesn’t tell the whole story either:

One of those groups, Primary Pivot, is run by Robert Schwartz, a liberal activist who has spent his career countering democratic backsliding in countries across Latin America… “We only care about damaging Donald Trump,” said Schwartz. “For better or for worse, the only thing you can do if you really want to stop Trump is to vote for Haley.”
The explicit goal was to get “Democratic voters to switch their party affiliation to undeclared,” and “to persuading already undeclared voters to vote in the Republican primary for Haley.”
There’s nothng illegal about this or anything.
But to me, the headline is implying that “a pro Haley PAC is now supporting Harris,” which is not true. It was never realy pro Haley, it was just anti Trump, and this switch to Harris is not unexpected in the slightest like the headline would lead you to believe. Not like “Conservative PAC now supporting Harris.”
IMO most pro-Haley support was inherently anti-Trump. That’s essentially what her campaign boiled down to, and I suspect she sincerely thought he will lose. If so, she’ll be well-positioned for another run, assuming two Trump losses will be seen as a death nail to his support (which might not occur, who knows, he could very well run again in delusion)
Yeah, that’s what people said the last two times.
Trumpism is not leaving the party. Its going to eject people like Nikki, as it has been doing for some time.
That’s a fair stance. But practically I don’t know what “Trumpism” will look like if he continues to not be in office. From my perspective it’s been a bit frozen in time since losing in 2020. Until the campaign ratcheted up, I didn’t know what he was saying or his position on current political affairs. So time and relevancy seems to be working against him, at least his direct influence. And if he dies I think there will be a lot of in-fighting when it comes to “What Would Trump Do” and will probably morph into something new altogether
