minus-squareTCB13@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3arrow-down3·edit-21 year agoSo many features, yet the calculator is still a piece of shit. What’s the thing with Apple? Is it THAT hard to make something like this: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/calc-smart-calculator/id576675190 Something decent that actually shows you the entire expression with the ability to place the cursor anywhere to edit previously inserted numbers? I just don’t get it, their calculator is the most useless thing ever, you type a number, hit “+” and the number is gone.

minus-squaregarretble@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3arrow-down1·edit-21 year agoLots of updates coming to the ios calculator with ios18. They obviously focused on the ipad version because it has the written math notes stuff, but a lot of those features are coming to the iphone, too. https://www.macrumors.com/2024/06/11/ios-18-calculator-these-conversions/ The current calculator has had a lot more options if you turn the phone sideways, but no one ever does that. Personally, I’m a pCalc guy.
