    For me, the most important ones are probably:

    • Noir: dark mode on any website
    • Vinegar: ad block for YouTube + Pip
    • Vidimote: set the default playback speed for all videos (1.5x in my case)

        adblockers for Safari work in two ways:

        • Setting a content blocker list of rules (fast, simple). Very likely they all share similar lists.
        • Dynamic JavaScript injection, this can block more complex ads.

        AdGuard does both, which is why it’s good.

        I’ve never used Wipr, but zero customization sounds awful.

          Wipr does both too, and the lack of configurability isn’t as bad as you think it is. But if that’s a dealbreaker for you, then stay away from it.

    I moved from wipr + hush to AdGuard and I’ve been happy with the change. It seems to break less websites and block more ads/annoyances. I also like the custom rules where if it doesn’t block something it should like a please-don’t-use-adblock overlay you can tap it away

      I use the same extensions but I wish I had a better alternative to Hush, since it basically just accepts all cookies.

      Sink It is great but loads inconsistently for me for some reason. When it works, it’s awesome. A lot of times it doesn’t and no amount of reloading fixes it.

    All my years of using an iPhone as my secondary device… I never knew there was extension support! Let me go go down the rabbit hole.

      It’s only been there since iOS 15, but they’re so good. Probably my favorite feature in the recent iOS releases.

    Is use the Firefox Focus safari extension as my content blocker. I think it works really good, can I say better then Adguard?

    I combine it with nextdns ad blocking too.

    Other extensions as others have mentioned: Noir, Vinegar , Backing soda , Kagi, Opener.

    One day, I will simply use the Orion browser as my main browser instead.

    HyperWeb. It’s free to mostly use and has lots of customization including blocking elements , auto clicking and adding new rules.

    There’s a paid option up implement automated rules but I never use it

    Also Vinegar of course
