No one is a “centrist”, although everyone think they are centrist. It means nothing to be in the center and nothing “truly identifies someone as” centrist.

You can tell who’s the republican tho by just looking at them

Lemme try to explain my centrism… I just prefer to not talk about politics at all, similar to how I dont want to talk about celebrities. I dont have opinions on political stuff (as far as anyone knows) and i dont want any.

Its so divisive! I dont hate people or avoid people because of their opinions, but people do that quick. As soon as someone hears someone else has a different political opinion the actual hate starts! I dont want to be hated because I voted for someone… why should i be? I dont vote out of hate. I think the driver to vote for someone is because you think they will do the most good, not because they will do the most harm. give everyone a chance, I bet we could be friends even! I dont hate anyone because they voted one way or other, I just cant do it. I was taught to appreciate people for what is on the inside, and it takes time to learn what is actually inside someone.

Many people see R or D and suddenly think they know everything about that person because of the strawman characature that the media has painted for them. Please dont do that. Like “You can tell who’s the republican tho by just looking at them” You obviously haven’t gotten out that much because people are -if nothing else- dynamic. And youre right a lot of times there are “tells” that give away a person’s political stance, but thats usually after starting to talk to them. To prejudge on appearance alone is folly, truly. Matter of fact, judging someone because of their political views is folly too… we’re running low on love for each other and we need to pump it up.

Do you mean in real life? I don’t think so. I do well with my conspiracy theorist friend.

On the Internet yes… people start fighting. But I don’t think it a bad thing because, it’s the only place where we can be honest without caring about irl relationships.
