Yeah its about creating a narrative and repeating it over and over so people believe it. It doesnt matter whether it’s true or not it just matters that people believe it because it “feels” true.
I’ve seen multiple people comment on Trump’s White House destruction that Obama spent $375 MILLION to install a basketball court. Claims don’t even have to be remotely realistic for this to work.
Those people are the worst because what are they even arguing, that it’s okay to waste all this money because someone else did too? Then in their next breath, they’ll whine about wasteful government spending or the national debt.
