Most sushi places will offer basic Americanized asian dishes or non-fish rolls, though. I’m allergic to fish (not shellfish), but there’s always something I can eat when I go to sushi restaurants with my wife.
Yeah that’s why I said usually. Even if they don’t offer other types of dishes there are always advocado and California rolls.

Yeah, it gets old having to ask restaurants if their crab is real or imitation.
How often is it real?
Depends on the location, but generally entrees over $20 are real.
