“This shutdown is different from earlier ones because Donald Trump and Russ Vought and all of their cronies are using this moment to terrorize these patriotic federal employees,” said Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., standing with federal workers Tuesday outside the White House budget office.

Van Hollen said it’s “a big fat lie” when Trump and his budget director say the shutdown is making them fire federal workers. “It is also illegal and we will see them in court,” he said.

Who fucking cares. Fascist forces are kidnapping people off your streets and all i am seeing is live coverage.

I fucking hope this shutdown keeps at it as long as possible for the maximum amount of suffering because U.S.-fuckers need a louder death rattle than they alrwady have. There is no ‘when’ to resist. Fuck every single day of this shit.

I said i am welcoming refugees from the U.S. but every fucking day that statement loses value.

You hope for the maximum amount of suffering? At least you’re open with how awful a person you are.

The thinking here is short term pain for long term pain.

Americans by and large seem very complacent with things being horrible for others unless it affects them directly. So if more people are affected directly maybe they will wake up?

Or maybe people are afraid. Adding suffering doesn’t guarantee a certain outcome.

How long can we continue to slowly suffer? Let’s get over the hump, let’s get this done with so we can start to heal. We’re all bleeding to death right now.

As i see communities being uprooted and american holding cAmeras i don’t see many people upholding the values that you guys proclaim to be yours. These are the very fucking neighbours you are supposed to “LOVE”.

What’s the privlige worth if you spend it on nothing but commentary? I guess it is more suffering that you need before you ACT. What do you hope for? Favorable midterms? I guess some familie just have to suffer through. I hope they chose a lighter skin colour in their next life.

As the shutdown enters its third week, the Office and Management and Budget said Tuesday it’s preparing to “batten down the hatches” with more reductions in force to come. The president calls budget chief Russ Vought the “grim reaper,”

Vought, a chief architect of the conservative Project 2025 policy book, is reshaping the size and scope of federal government in ways similar to those envisioned in the blueprint.

Oh look, another fall guy. What do we boycott now instead of Tesla EVs? /s
