Since the peak of the full scale invasion began in 2022, Russia has lost control of about 50 000 km2 of Ukrainian territory. Entire fronts have been pushed back out of Ukraine. So while the scale is still on Russias side, the war is going badly for them.

That is not accurate to the situation in Ukraine.
