 - My experience is different. Yes, when they want to hire you they say we’re all like a family. - When revenue drops, they say it again - stressing that we all need to pull together, which usually means something like fewer benefits, more hours for the same wage and deferred raises. - When revenue rises, there should - logically - be a speech where we, as a family, celebrate our wealth and share it with everyone. That never happens though. - we just grilled our bosses because they do a quarterly presentation about how well the company is doing, and then in May and September laid off 20% then 30% of the company for “financial” reasons. - I think they think that now AI is here we can all just do the work without people? But what that means is you just get unreconstructed verbatim AI output as a service.

- More like “When the revenue doesn’t go up by as much as they want”
- Ha ha! Fools! - Revenue hasn’t have to drop for corporations to do layoffs for years already!

- Either this really isn’t viewable in the US or someone in the UK took a screenshot of the “not viewable” error. - hmmm it could be taken as a jab against capitalism which is terrorism now in the land of the fREe

- i cant even see this (UK) - Censorship’s that bad? Do you have to provide your real ID? - Imgur completely disabled access from the UK because they didn’t want to deal with the OSA I believe - And some rather dimwitted people will still tell you that the OSA is a good law and is only about blocking porn. - The same people who use “the internet” as a synonym for facebook.com

- Good.

- “Content not viewable in your region” - What naughty adult content is this! Satan!
- He still has trauma when they laid off half of his siblings.
- Everyone always views families as the happy, wealthy, well to do, nuclear family that is happy, functioning, supportive, open and loving. - There are many types of families and many of them you don’t want to be part of … they can be abusive, manipulative, destructive, psychotic, chaotic and ugly. - Whenever a company says you are part of a family, it may not mean you are entering into a loving relationship with a group of supportive people … you may be entering into a dysfunctional family living within a cult like atmosphere that only ever wants blind obedience or else you will punished for insubordination to the leader of the family.
- If a company is good, it feels like home. If a company is trash, it will stress that you should feel this way.
- Oh, that beautiful corporate speech that is an insult to everybody’s intelligence. - Socialise losses, … forgot the other half
