I have no desire to get an iPhone, but I was curious about this from the photos I saw of the phone. For the people who do get these phones, it’s nice to hear that they’re somewhat durable. Still, it would be nice if they were more repairable

Dynamic forces are way higher than static forces. 210 pounds means you will break it if you sit on it. Even 100-pound waifs can easily produce 210 pounds of force when plopping down ungently. Bigger people will smush them easily.
Uh no. It’s was 210 at the center and wasn’t fully distributed across the phone. If you paid attention in physics class you’d know that it would take considerably much more force cross the whole device to break it that way.
Kinda the same principal for how a freight ship can float in water. “Bigger people” won’t smush them easily. In fact it would be very hard, and the person would need to be nearly 800 pounds
