Although MAGA figureheads have been quick to point fingers at the left for Kirk’s death, Tyler’s grandmother, Debbie Robinson, 69, insisted that they come from a family of Trump supporters.

She spoke with Daily Mail on Friday after news of Robinson’s arrest broke. “My son, his dad, is a Republican for Trump,” Debbie told the outlet. “Most of my family members are Republican. I don’t know any single one who’s a Democrat.”

It is absolutely on brand for MAGA to be so blind to the predictable consequences their own dogma that it ends up being one of them.

MAGA is eating MAGA all over, it’s not one movement, it’s a very loose coalition of crazy assholes.

All indication is the shooter was a follower of the Nick Fuentus sect:

      https://www.newsweek.com/groyper-charlie-kirk-shooting-nick-fuentes-2129114

They’ve been beefing with Kirk and his followers because they think he isn’t pro-trump enough. The veneer that he’s having “discussions” has been enough for them to send protesters in the past, a large reason why he stopped doing these.

Then he wouldn’t shut up about Epstein after Trump said too…

      Now hes dead

trump can’t control all the different factions, when they fight each other he can’t do shit to stop it. It’s a bunch of warring tribes all trying to show trump they love him the most.

Oh shit that makes sense why he was telling his base to tone it down. PSA’s Tommy acted like this was such a nice thing to do, but reality is it was just CYA.

It’d probably be like reporting on Christian nationalist groups who try to take over towns and cities. They won’t react in any meaningful way unless there’s already internal fractures to begin with.

          You can’t fight what you don’t understand…

But it’s fucking insane the pushback you get most of the time for digging deeper than “they’re evil”.

Like, even if the goal is just playing them against each other instead of reforming them, they’re easily manipulated, but you at least need to know what they want
