    “If someone tries to assassinate you, it’s because you deserve it”, in other words.

    Seems like a pretty dangerous stance to take.

      We hanged people at Nuremberg for doing exactly what Kirk made his whole career doing. That’s the context that every discussion of Kirk’s death should begin with.
