I know Bubsy 3D is notoriously bad but how are the others?
They’re pretty fun sidescrollers. Can be frustrating like any old sidescrollers, but they look good and have kind of a weird vibe, kind of like how Earthworm Jim had a weird vibe to it. Maybe it’s the art direction. I remember coming back to them frequently as a kid, so there must have been something that stood out about them.
Trash, honestly. Bubsy was always a bargain bin mascot platformer that I would only play when I didn’t have access to SMW or DKC. Nostalgia can’t even salvage them.
