    At the same time, the proud vulgarity that courses through the movie feels like slight misdirection, a way to keep people in their seats while giving them another slightly more sophisticated narrative about privilege and power, deindustrialization and imbalanced labor relations, and a determination to be free even if you still have to serve somebody.
