U.S. President Donald Trump intensified his trade war with Canada a day ahead of his August 1 deadline for a tariff agreement, saying it would be “very hard” to make a deal with Canada after it gave its support to Palestinian statehood.

Trump is set to impose a 35% tariff on all Canadian goods not covered by the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement if the two countries do not reach an agreement by the deadline.

Last month, Carney’s government scrapped a planned digital services tax targeting U.S. technology firms after Trump abruptly called off trade talks saying the tax was a “blatant attack.”

Carney, stop appeasing them. It doesn’t gain you anything, and it teaches them you can be pushed around.

I think Canada will cave as did EU at the end because there seems to be a stupidity and cowardness epidemics going on and it affects mostly said politicians.

Canada needs to start stealing US IP and profiting off it. Sell stuff for John Deere products for cheaper than they do to any country that wants it.

The funny thing is that outside of car manufacturing, all of his threats are impotent because of NAFTA that he signed.

And his handlers know it. If he steps out of that agreement, Canada fucks him over.
