The quoted scam message says Mastodon, but I’m seeing it on Lemmy. So presumably this is a Mastodon issue and is irrelevant to Lemmy users such as us.

Giving an example of what a legit message would look like gives the scammers what they would need to mimic it. Better to list the admins to compare to any suspicious message senders.
