It started before WW2, but that’s basically what happened. It is a colonizing mission and they admit it themselves.

But the thing is, that argument is never used in real life, by anyone, and so you’re not hearing counter-arguments. No one is saying that Russia wants to take over Baltics because genetic or historical presence.
