Sedona Prince has gotten a lot of attention for her social media posts, drawing attention to gender equity questions at the NCAA Tournament in 2021, and her status as a lead plaintiff in a landmark antitrust lawsuit standing up for college athletes.

On Monday night, her name wasn’t mentioned as the WNBA rolled through 38 selections in its 29th draft.

The only place her name was mentioned? As a potential draft pick during the draft by analysts.

"Since 2019, Prince has been accused by four women “of either assault or sexual assault.” One of Prince’s former partners filed, and later dropped, a lawsuit against her accusing her of sexual assault. Molly Hensley-Clancy of The Washington Post wrote that “Prince asked two women who later accused her of domestic violence to sign nondisclosure agreements, according to police records and an ex-girlfriend. Prince also threatened legal action against women who have spoken about her on social media”.

“In August 2024, one of Prince’s former girlfriends, Olivia Stabile, posted a series of [TikTok] videos accusing Prince of physical and verbal abuse. Included in the posts were accusations of Prince shoving her to the ground and threatening to sue Stabile if she were to go public about the incident.”

“In January 2025, Prince and an ex-girlfriend were “involved in a physical altercation;” Prince sustained a black eye.”

Pro sports is a business, and the players are just cogs in their machine. You produce, or you get thrown out.
