I remember buying that game based solely on the cover, making my awesome creatures and then getting wrecked because rule of cool wasn’t enough to beat opponents.
Wolverine and sperm whale was absolutely OP. Add gorilla/archer fish and you have a solid army
I remember mixing lobster with almost everything. Armor, healing, claws, amphibious. It had everything.
Impossible Creatures was a masterpiece. I still go back to it every now and then.
Surprisingly this is my first time hearing about this game, but I’m excited that it has steam workshop support!
