      Its not just embarrassment we should feel. Arbitrary constructs are still capable of creating massive unneccessary human tragedy, repeatedly.

        It makes them, not real. We allow nations. We could easily create a world without nations and borders. Dare to dream.

          Sure! Its just a point about semantics. Apples and planes and tables and chairs are all constructs, but theyre also very real. Just like nations, borders and ideas.

            Material versus immaterial. A chair 🪑 is a material object. It’s physical. Nations and borders are ideas that have no physical material. If I walk to the border if my “nation” there is no material dashed line representing the border. There’s a river. Intro to philosophy should be taught in schools.
