See my wife and I are the opposite we have a pass for free films at the Drafthouse and we go sometimes twice a week. There is nothing better to keep focus on just the movie where you can just glance at your phone. We are also lucky that our theater is no joke when it comes to talking but I’m luck only ever had to put up a card twice is 10 years.

but there are no movies releases anymore. We stopped caring about marvel movies after endgame and the rest are remakes or what we lovely call geezer sequels. At this point we are watching low budget horror movies as that’s the only thing being released.

Ah if we lived near a drafthouse, maybe we’d have a pass too! But the nearest is an hour away, plus we have kids who would need a sitter so the cost ends up being more than just the movies for us. But he’s also complained about the cost of three tickets and snacks when taking them to a kids movie. So we can’t win basically.

Totally agree about the Marvel stuff! We feel much the same way.

Yeah it’s definitely a DINK (Double Income No Kids) privilege. So thank you for taking the hit for the team and continuing the human race. 😋
