Summary

Donald Trump’s aggressive immigration policies, including heightened ICE raids, are disrupting the U.S. agricultural sector.

In California’s Central Valley, a key food-producing region, undocumented farm workers—over half the workforce—are staying home out of fear, leaving crops like citrus unharvested.

Bakersfield saw up to 75% of workers absent, sparking concerns of economic devastation and rising food prices.

ICE is also targeting sensitive areas like schools and churches after rolling back Obama-era protections.

Experts warn these policies could lead to widespread economic repercussions.

No that’s a giant strawman. They should be deported. Do you think they should be able to come here without permission, to rape and murder while receiving welfare and free housing?

Lol I strawmaned you, just like you did to me

        most of the time.

        It should be 0

What you are doing is parroting Trump talking points. That’s not “strawmanning,” it’s propaganda. And a lie.

I don’t know what you think that term means, but you’re wrong.

I attacked an argument that you are not making. That is a strawman. That is also what you did. Not actually parroting them, I’m making a point about your argument.

What argument was I making that involved the use of government social services? Because I’m pretty sure I was talking about concentration camps, slavery and rape.

              But do please quote me.

Oh, I see. Well that’s not what I did. Because this is what you said:

So should we allow immigrants in illegally so they can be abused?

My response was that the ones here are going to be abused by the Trump administration. That’s not a strawman. That’s a direct response to what you said. Either you don’t want immigrants abused or you do. Which is it?

Let me guess: putting someone who overstayed their visa in prison with a bunch of rapists and murderers until the country they came from agrees to take them back isn’t abusive.
