in CS, the player (for some reason) only gets deafened if they’re looking at the grenade, meaning they also get blinded. plus, the blinding effect is way more important than the deafening effect, since a person would still be able to shoot someone else if they’re just deafened.
I’m pretty sure flashbangs are less about the flash, and more about the bang.
