My switch was recently banned, which isn’t an issue for me since I don’t play online, however something happened where my physical copy of pokemon violet was either corrupted due to a console update or the game was mid update and my switch reset itself.
When I try to open the game it tells me to connect to the internet to verify the game files for missing data. Since my switch is banned I am unable to connect to the internet in the first place. My question is how would I go about fixing this issue, assuming the game card or save file is affected.
I doubt the physical copy itself got affected, I’m pretty certain the carts are read-only.
I thought bans only affect online multiplayer? You might still be able to verify game files if you’re connected to WiFi. If not, you can try deleting the update data and then downloading the update from a shop. I’m not sure if downloading only an update is possible, though, so you might need to download the full game too
