Yes, Trump and his ilk are horrible for Americans and world stability. That has been the case for a decade unfortunately the opposition hasn’t been able to garner enough votes to beat an incredibly unpopular candidate by forcing even more unpopular candidates on people for 3 consecutive elections. Blame people who voted for Trump for him being in office but don’t blame people who did not vote for his opposition for the opposition’s failure to provide compelling candidates. It’s no different than Trump blaming the EU for not buying more US products.

Her stated position was identical to that of Biden as he signed off on the mass slaughter: No end to weapon shipments or any tangible support to current admin. I think it would be incredibly hard to get people to switch without a compelling reason. Keep in mind that our modern keyboard layout is 150+ years old despite alternatives existing. Arabic letters are very close to English ones in sound but the readability suffers for me at least because it’s written in cursive with a lot of very similar-looking shapes (think of an i with 1 dot on top and an i with 2 dots being 2 separate letters) necessitating bigger font sizes.

English is about half of the internet and the modern lingua franca so unless it gets replaced or evolves over time, either of which would take decades, I don’t think any central body could make that change.

Again, I’m not saying to not participate in polticial life but to participate productively and not against the interest of people domestically and abroad which is what the Democrats clearly represent (and of course the Republicans are an even bigger enemy of humanity but that goes without saying) of at this stage for anyone with genuine convictions looking beyond rhetoric. Harm reduction did not work in 2016, 2020 or 2024 and will not work moving forward unless you seek alternative parties/independents.

So both of those words are spelled sabaya when anglicized and while I will admit I was not familiar with the soft s variant because it’s antiquated (and still not necessarily sexual in meaning even if that one is debatable), it doesn’t sound like the man in the video who is supposed to have said that even said either of those words to me. Absolutely factually incorrect. Sabaya is the plural of sabiye which means young woman/girl. The masculine form is sabi which means boy or shab for young man (not exactly symmetric like use of guy vs girl in english). Zero sexual connotation and used in everyday language in levantine arabic.
