I wonder if OP is faceblind and has slight recognition but not completely.
Also adding a data point for Optery. I’m sure the other services are comparable, though. Most have free trials.
A lot of states don’t even care if you’ve only got so-so vision in one eye and are completely blind in the other. No stereopsis, no problem! Here’s a driver’s license. Good luck.

Seeing this after the Kat Abughazaleb post on the front page… lol.

I will share and highly recommend this resource: Western Australia’s Centre for Clinical Interventions’s Self Help Resources. Of course, these are applicable to anyone, not just Australians. There are various pages for different types of conditions (anxiety, assertiveness, procrastinating, eating disorders, etc.), and most of them take you to self-directed workbooks you can fill out yourself. They’re not only informative, but they also guide you through your thinking about these issues and how to deal with them and grow from them.

I’m very pro-repair and DIY and keeping things out of landfills, but at a certain point, the skills/mastery needed outweigh any benefits of trying to DIY/learn/etc. Sometimes it really is best left to the experts (or not at all, as in the case of the Surface Book).
Same, they told me I would need oral surgery and to break my jaw open. No thanks. Occasionally they twinge and hurt, but I suppose I haven’t died yet.
Not to mention protein from sources other than meat… quinoa, lentils, whole grains, etc.
Lysistrata, then.
Not everyone is lucky enough to be handy, unfortunately…

This sounds like a great one to follow up on after having recently started Murderbot, thanks!
Hell, even birthright citizens aren’t safe if they are perceived as non-white.
