Serious question! I want to hide all posts about the American politics and their president. How to do that?

Filter by specific words. Will depend heavily on your client.
If you’re using browser you can add this to your adblock custom filters. Just make sure the instance matches the one you’re using so incase of OP, replace lemm.ee with lemmy.world

I use Sync, you can filter key words in any combination of post content, titles, community names and comments.
It won’t catch everything, but it clears out enough that I get enough other content to keep me happy. You could also block the specific communities for politics.
