Production issues continue for Zom 100. As pretty as this anime looks, especially for the studio’s first production, the project management seems to be a mess.

Yes, and they tried some really fun stuff. Like the multicoloured blood - it’s plain as day that it’s blood, but it fits amazingly well with the vibe of the show, making it look surreal and fun instead of heavy gore.

I hope that they work their issues out, and keep releasing anime series like this.

Was this supposed to be 1 or 2 cours? Since Summer is ending, and Fall shows are going to take this spot, I can see why they’d just put it on hold until they’re ready. Lots of shows have been doing that lately (Nier, Misfit of Demon Academy, Ayakashi Triangle off the top of my head.)

I feel bad because the show started really strong, but the repeated delays caused it to lose a ton of steam. I may try the live action movie on Netflix to see where the story goes/see if it’s worth it to pick the anime back up when it comes back.

FYI the latest two episodes of the anime go beyond the end of the live action film. You won’t learn anything by watching it, unfortunately

Watched it last night since we’re basically between seasons, and seems like the anime is way past where the movie ended.

However, the movie was pretty good. I think they did a good job translating things into a movie format. The casting was all pretty well done too.

    Producers got eaten by zombies.

Serious now, what a shame. I bet that plenty people will forget about it afterwards.
