The Twitter cofounder previously backed the Tesla CEO in his takeover of the company but walked back his support earlier this year, telling a member on rival social media platform Bluesky, "It all went south.”

Did it Jack? You got to unload a limping dog for top dollar.

Yeah Jack sure didn’t turn out to be the visionary I thought he was. Just another scummy tech bro.

Most definitely. With the offer that Elon gave the only correct answer was accept it. For himself and stockholders.

To be fair, Twitter’ was always fueled by drama, and if nothing else, Musky sure has been sure to keep that tank full.

Twitter was actually dying before hand because it was completely irrelevant echo chamber. It survives because its now also a complexity irrelevant echo chamber, however, this time with popcorn worth drama.

If you are any where even remotely close to the political left and are still on that platform “clapping back” at idiots, you are part of the problem and giving Musk power.

I mean, the dog didn’t limp much before Elon shot it three times and kicked it down the stairs.

I don’t see what’s interesting about this information. we all knew that he put investors together to raise the money. it’s a normal thing to do I think. I don’t know anything about business.

Yahoo is an aggregator site and the bot isn’t sophisticated enough to detect the original source.

Yet another error message with upvotes. Obvious astroturfing and manufactured consent.

Because one of the mods programmed the bot and is really proud of their accomplishment. Their ego has blinded them to the problems they are causing.

I agree that it’s good to be proud of your programming accomplishments. I also think it’s really fucked to abuse positions of power and ignore community input.

Here’s the thread discussing the issue.

Not sure if it’s a rhetorical question, but I’ll answer anyway.

That’s often when it is most useful. It alerts people that it may be an unknown, new, or fringe source. You don’t see them often because the bot helps people report remove them quickly.
