No, he’s full of shit. Its kind of famous that they sent the cars out and they were absolute pieces of shit. They did the mods crappy as fuck. Like 1 thing I remember was this one that had tvs that would rise up. They used cheap windshield wiper motors for the TVs and it lasted like a month.
There are several stories out there about the shitty cars.
Also they were forbidden by contract from selling them, so there was nothing they could do with them
